Why do I need a Massage Candle?

Candles are a regular sight in many of our homes these days, used to create an ambience, improve relaxation and to add a pleasant scent to our homes.  There's something oh so soothing about the soft, glow of a candle and the gentle crackling of our wooden wicks.  But did you know we also make a different type of candle? The type that takes your relaxation to a whole new level, if you’ve not heard about these little gems yet, cosy on in and read on.....

Enter the world of massage candles - a blend of cosy scents which give you nourished soft skin.

Massage candles are quite a new addition to the world of candles, created to enhancing well-being whilst offering a multi-sensory experience. Created with skin loving ingredients, which sooth and nourish your skin, it’s clear that massage candles are in a league of their own and are much more than aesthetics and scent.

Using a massage candle creates a luxurious spa-like experience right in the comfort of your own home. It all sound amazing right? What’s holding you back? I know what you're thinking ‘Won’t I burn myself?’ - just keep reading!

Won’t it burn me?

Nope, because the ingredients we use melt at a cooler temperature, in fact they will melt on contact with your skin temperature so they won’t burn you.

One of the primary distinctions between massage candles and regular candles lies in the ingredients. Massage candles are typically made using pure natural plant oils, soy wax, and fragrance or essential oils. These ingredients are carefully selected for their therapeutic and skincare properties. Our massage candles contain:

Natural Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Soya Wax all combined with our fragrance blends to give you a gorgeous hydrated feel.

Massage candles and regular candles are quite different....

Here are some of the key differences between regular soya candles and our massage candles:

Ingredients: Our Massage candle uses natural ingredients, including nourishing butters, oils fragrance and soya wax, while our regular candles usually contain only soy wax and fragrance oils.

Nourishing Effect: Massage candles leave your skin feeling soft, hydrated and nourished, the oils and butters sink into the skins layers, but our regular candles do not, and the wax will simply harden on the skin.

Use: Regular candles are used around the home or workplace for ambiance, adding a scent to a room and enhancing mood, while massage candles are designed for skincare and relaxation, but also giving the ambiance that a regular candle gives.

The big question - How do you use it?

It’s quite straightforward really, and to answer the most comment question I get asked - no you don’t need a partner for a massage candle, its doesn’t have to be just for couples!  My massage candle has replaced my daily body lotion, its part of my skin care routine and my skin has never felt so soft.

  1. You simply light the candle, allowing the soothing aromas to fill your room.

  2. After about an hour, or once you have a generous melt pool, blow out the candle and wait for around a minute to let it cool slightly.

  3. You'll see the wax has become a warm, nourishing oil that you can now pour into your hands and gently massage into your skin.

It's an indulgent experience that leaves your skin silky soft, with no greasiness. My daily routine is to light the candle before I go into the shower then once I come back into the bedroom the room is filled with a beautiful scent.  I blow out the candle and use the oil as a moisturiser which leaves me feeling like I’ve used the most luxurious moisturiser ever!

Our Massage Candles have been tried and tested, here's what some of our customers had to say:

Penny: "I absolutely love my massage candle, its my little bit of luxury that keeps my skin so soft”

Carla: “The massage candle is a game changer, I can’t believe I’ve never heard of them before Daisy Fresh.  I’m so pleased I decided to treat myself, it has changed my skincare routine and I actually remember to moisturise now

Helen: "I bought the massage candle to help with my dry hands, the oils and butters are so much better than my cuticle oil

Lilly: "My husband bought me this for valentine’s day, I think he was hoping for a massage but he’s got no chance! This candle is all mine and I’m not sharing.  Can’t wait to try the other fragrances soon”
